Client: Seattle Times
Team: Mule Design
Duration: 4 months (2014)
In my final project at Mule Design, I had the pleasure of helping lead a redesign of the website for my hometown newspaper, the Seattle Times. At that time, the Times was still publishing a desktop-only version online, and our Mule team partnered with their in-house designers to create a fully responsive front-end that balanced an improved reader experience with the business needs of the paper’s ad sales team.
We established a modular design system that offered Times designers increased flexibility in crafting both standard section and article variations as well as more immersive, visually-striking experiences.
